Teddy bear
This project is call Teddy bear, and it was made during my Animation 1 courses at Northeastern university. The goal of this project is to design a character and a scene to make a 20-30 seconds animation. My concept is a teddy bear who is in the arcade feeling thirsty and struggling for getting a drink from the vending machine.
Frogman
This is a 3D character design project from my Character Design for Animation course at Northeastern University. The goal of this project is to blend two features from two different animals and make a brand new creature. My concept is to make a dancing frogman with lizard paws, back-skin, and arrow-poison frog’s body.
Maya
I normally use Maya to design the base model of architectures, characters, and other element, and then import the model to Zbrush and 3D substance painter to make it looks better. I also use it to make animation, the Teddy Bear and Frogman projects are the examples. Below is a environment/architecture design project assets from my Virtual environmental design course at Northeastern University. My goal of this project is to make a Chinese style scene.
Zbrush
I normally use Zbrush to sculpt details for models, like hard surfaces, mechanical devices, or human/creature faces.
Here are my individual project, a hard-surface helmet, and a screenshot of how I adding details for my Frogman character.
Blender
In my level design course, I use Blender as the main tool to design 3d levels.
Here is a 3D dungeon-level design that I designed in the summer of 2022.
